GORDON, NEBRASKA JUST WHAT

Gordon is located in northwest Nebraska, 14 miles south of the South Dakota state line and 100 miles east of Wyoming. Served by U.S. Highway 20 and Nebraska Highway 27. The Gordon Municipal Airport is located 1 1/2 miles from the city, facilities include two lighted hard-surfaced runways (5,200 feet and 2,300 feet). The nearest scheduled air service is located at Chadron, 47 miles west of Gordon.
Electric service is provided by Nebraska Public Power District and natural gas service is provided by K N Energy. The municipal water system has a maximum capacity of 1,728,000 gallons and plans are to construct two new water wells within the next few years. The lagoon-type sewerage system has a daily capacity of 400,000 gallons. Low utility rates make this community a desirable location for your industry.
